Allison Campbell – American chemist who is known in the areas of biomineralization, biomimetics and biomaterials for her innovative work on bioactive coatings for medical implants. She was director for the Earth and Biological Sciences Directorate at the DOE Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL).
