Short Bio — Colleen Pritchett is President U.S. Windows at Cornerstone Building Brands. Previously, she was President, Aerospace, Americas at Hexcel. For over two decades, Colleen served at DuPont, including executive positions such as Vice President of the Electronics & Communications Microcircuit Materials business in Taiwan; Colleen has a B.S. in chemical engineering from Penn State and an MBA from Emory University.
Long Bio — Ms. Pritchett is a global executive with a proven track record of delivering profit and growth through Customer Intimacy and Innovation. She has extensive experience leading multi-billion dollar advanced material businesses with operations in Americas, Europe, and Asia serving customers in diverse industrial markets. She is a collaborative leader with ability to engage and inspire teams to manage through uncertainty and change to transform business performance. She is also a noted speaker at international industrial forums.
Starting in August 2022, Ms. Pritchett joined Cornerstone Building Brands as President, U.S. Windows assuming responsibility for the company’s windows business.
From 2018-2022, Ms. Pritchett served as Hexcel Corporation’s President of Americas Aerospace and was instrumental in leading efforts to increase customer intimacy and technological collaborations with key Commercial Aerospace and Space & Defense customers securing multi-billion dollar customer wins while step changing cost and managing through the global pandemic. Prior to Hexcel, Ms. Pritchett worked at E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company for 22 years in the aerospace, automotive, electronics, packaging, and printing industries.
From 2016-2018, Ms. Pritchett served as Vice President for the Electronics & Imaging Advanced Printing business for E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. Ms. Pritchett was responsible for global profit and loss, business development, strategic planning, as well as leading innovation and growth. She improved profitability in the first year, turned around declining revenues and launched a market disrupter platform of products leading to record growth, earning her team the 2017 Electronics & Imaging Excellence Award.
Prior to 2016, Ms. Pritchett led multiple business units including Electronics & Communications Microcircuit Materials, Performance Polymers, Kalrez® and Vespel® and Engineering Polymers. She took an international assignment in Shanghai, China from 2013-2015 leading the Performance Polymers business, delivering significant growth and market share gains throughout the Asia Pacific region. Pritchett then moved to Taipei, Taiwan and led a turnaround of the Electronics business gaining market share and step changing earnings improvement for the business.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Pritchett held positions as North American Sales and Distribution Manager, Strategic Planning Manager, National Accounts Team Sales Manager and positions in Engineering and Finance.
She was a member of the AIA Civil Aviation Leadership Council as well as former Chair of the Board for ARC Technologies LLC, a Hexcel company and former Director for Aerospace Composites Malaysia Sdn Bhd., a joint venture between The Boeing Company and Hexcel Corporation. She also served as Chair of the Board for DuPont’s Xinda Filaments Company Limited, Chair of Penn State Chemical Engineering Industrial and Professional Advisory Board, President of Graduate Business Association, Emory University, and Vice President of American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Penn State University.
Pritchett earned a Master of Business Administration, Goizueta Business School, Emory University, Atlanta, GA and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Penn State, State College, PA. She also completed a Harvard Business School Leadership Program and a Women in Governance Program at UCLA. She received the 2022 Outstanding Engineering Alumni Award by the Penn State College of Engineering and the 2022 Distinguished Alumnus Award by Goizueta Business School.
