Dr. Debra Rooker is a Senior Research Scientist I in Analytical Operations at Gilead Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from NYU and was an outstanding student volunteer of CME. Dedication, responsiveness and performance are her trademarks. She has been supporting the CME meetings and the CME STEM Leadership Awards (TM) from 2013-2017. She is the Analytical CMC functional area lead working on cross-functional teams to support pharmaceutical development of clinical products. She provides technical expertise and scientific creativity to support analytical method development. Debra cultivates an environment for her team to develop a strong foundation in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry, which empowers the team to think outside the box and be accountable for the work they do.
