Peter Schild is the Managing Director of Sustainability at Proman AG, a leading global producer of methanol and ammonia. Based in Switzerland, Schild oversees Proman’s technical expertise in sustainability and clean shipping supply chains. He is a Board Member at the Methanol Institute and chairs its Marine Fuels Committee, driving advancements in methanol as a sustainable marine fuel. With over three decades at Proman, Schild has managed the construction and commissioning of world-scale methanol and ammonia plants, including the M5000 plant in Trinidad and Tobago. Holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Schild is a key figure in promoting sustainable innovation across industries.
