Donna Nelson – 2016 ACS President. A professor of chemistry at the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Nelson was the scientific advisor in the award-winning TV series Breaking Bad. She holds a B.S. in chemistry and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin.  She has been a member of the ACS since 1975.
