2024 CME NASA Symposium Abstract
The application scope of 2D electrically conductive metal-organic frameworks (EC-MOFs) has expanded rapidly from electrochemical energy storage to electronic devices, yet limitations in their structural motifs and chemical functionality impede their full utilization. I will discuss the pivotal role of building blocks in governing the electronic structure and electrical properties of EC-MOFs. Then, I will present post-synthetic methodologies leveraging coordination chemistry to introduce functional molecules, enabling fine-tuning of electronic, chemical, and optical properties.
